++THE FUTURE OF NON-COMPRESSIBLE HAEMORRHAGE CARE IN COMBAT TRAUMA++

Non Compressible Haemorrhage is the Number 1 cause of potentially preventable death in war

On behalf Professor Nigel Tai CBE, Chair of the Non-Compressible Haemorrhage Working Group for Defence Medical Services, and in collaboration with Imperial College London, we invite you to join a symposium on finding & developing future technologies to treat non compressible haemorrhage in combat trauma.

The aim is to bring together Scientists, Engineers, Industry, Clinicians and Leaders to consider this important problem space, discuss novel areas of innovation and unlock new approaches through collaboration. The day hopes to lay the groundwork for a Defence and Security Accelerator funding call to Find, Fund and Facilitate bringing a new disruptive intervention to treat non compressible life threatening haemorrhage in combat trauma.

We are seeking contributions from:

Scientists, Principal Investigators, Researchers exploring novel approaches in chemistry, bioengineering and medical devices - whether at benchside, bedside or spin out stages of development in technology or materials that could be adopted for this purpose

Industry who may be bringing products to market of significant clinical relevance.

Clinicians and Leaders with novel clinical experience in the management of non compressible haemorrhage.

If you think you have something to Offer. Then we would love to meet you.

If you feel you have an innovation that fits our need. Then we want to hear your story. Submit an Abstract for a Development Talk so you can show us how your platform fits our need.
